Every year we, the society, award a cheque to the value of £50 for a written piece of work.
This year’s subject is ‘Black Sheep of the Family’, and the deadline for this year’s entry is the end of May – so you have a few weeks left to get your fingers on the keyboard and write about a trip to the seaside. Your article can be long, short, one page, two pages or even three but we would like to hear about ‘A trip to the seaside’.

Each article will be judged anonymously by the Committee (who are not allowed to enter).
