180 Years of Eastmoor – Its People and Their Houses

The presentation provides an overview of project work that was undertaken to celebrate the architectural and social heritage of Eastmoor. It traces the development from a small Victorian settlement to the later council estate that was built in the 20^th century.  A series of workshops were organised to build the story, based upon historic maps, photographs, census records, newspaper archives and oral histories.
