A new exhibition revealing how Doncaster and South Yorkshire fought for Britain in the skies during the First World War, and reliving the terror of the Zeppelin air-raid on Sheffield in 1916. Admission: Adult £6.50 Seniors £5.50, Children(5-16) £3, Family £15.00 Please note OPENING HOURS Winter 10am-4pm Tuesday to Sunday Last admission 3pm. We are open everyday throughout the LOCAL school holidays and ALL bank holidays, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

On Saturday 1st December Brian Oxberry, Chairman of the Malton branch of the Charles Dickens Society, gave a talk on a theme close to his heart. Dressed in period clothes of the mid-nineteenth century, Brian described how Dicken’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ was influenced by his visits to the North Yorkshire town of Malton.
