This month's talk will be Meeting for March 4th - 'Using the 1901 census online.' by Edgar Holdroyd-Doveton.
 
The use of the census for historical research provides rich detail about occupatio, migration and information that helps construct and empirically based social history.

 
 
This talk looks at the use of the 1901 census data in one pennine village, Meltham and compares this with the 1911 online census and other census.
